Privacy Policy

Summary

Decisioneer is designed to keep your decision data on your device. The app does not collect personal data, does not track you, and does not sell or share your data with third parties.

Information you enter

You may enter candidate names, notes, criteria, scores, and saved decision files. This information is stored locally on your device using app storage and files you choose to save or open.

Files

If you choose to save, open, share, or import a file, that action is handled by the operating system file picker or share sheet. The app only reads or writes the file you select.

Images and source metadata

If the app stores an image for a candidate, it keeps source metadata with that image where available, including the image URL, source page URL, capture date, attribution, and alt text. This helps you understand where an image came from.

Network requests

If you choose to infer candidate details from a website or load suggested candidate images, the app fetches the website addresses and image addresses you enter or select. Those requests are sent directly from your device to the relevant website provider, which may receive standard request information such as your IP address and requested URL.

If you use currency conversion, the app may fetch current exchange-rate data from Frankfurter. The app does not send your Decisioneer matrix, candidate names, notes, scores, or saved files with that request.

Analytics and tracking

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

Data deletion

You can remove candidates and criteria inside the app. You can also delete saved decision files using the Files app or Finder. Removing the app from your device removes its local app storage.
